MISSION STATEMENT
Bulls-Eye Search is dedicated to
giving each client exceptional service. We believe that our work should be characterized
by timely execution, forthright and ongoing communication, ethical practices and
an unwillingness to settle for second best.
This commitment to clients is predicated
upon a similar commitment to the candidates we recruit. In providing each with superior
representation, we will be tenacious in identifying the best positions, thorough
in preparation for interviews, honest about client feedback, and diligent in negotiating
fair compensation and benefits.
HISTORY
Bulls-Eye Search was founded by its
Principal, Rob Stevenson, in October 2002. In addition to Mr. Stevenson’s current
core expertise in financial search, the company has plans to expand into new, specialized
areas.
Following a successful career with
several search firms, Mr. Stevenson believed that he could capitalize on shortcomings
he saw within the search profession. These included a lack of urgency in completing
searches, utilizing too narrow a referral network, contacting an insufficient number
of source companies, and poor facilitation of feedback between client and applicant.
He sought to employ the best practices he had culled from client feedback and his
own experiences in recruiting.
Prior to joining the search field,
Mr. Stevenson had spent five years as a journalist. The skills he had the opportunity
to learn in investigative reporting including source development, fundamental
research and direct contact with key newsmakers have been invaluable to him
at different firms, and will be utilized at Bulls-Eye as well.

Los Angeles.
After graduating from the University
of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a joint degree in English and Political
Science, Mr. Stevenson began his career as a newspaper reporter and worked for progressively
larger newspapers in North Carolina. His last position was State Reporter for the
Winston-Salem Journal, where he was responsible for breaking news and feature writing
